The location was perfect, and we could reach HKRI Taikoo Hui Shopping Mall by walking. the management was helpful, as well as the staff.

The hotel is luxurious with helpful personnel from the doorman to the manager. The location is favourable and marvellous, close to metro. Plus, it's in Downtown Shanghai district, not far from the shopping mall, all the malls and Beijing, Hing Kong and Shanghai.

The service at Middle House was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Assistant Manager Denis Krupp, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. The entire staff, from the doorman to the manager, had a great attitude and created a wonderful atmosphere. Kudos to Middle House!

The design of the hotel is sleek and stylish, reflecting the work of architect Piero Lissoni. However, I must admit that some of the room's construction and details were rough, considering the high price of the hotel.

In my twin room, I really liked having a mini bar and a safe all to myself. the location here was just perfect - not too far from Shanghai Renmin Park, making it a nice and easy walk there. 🚶‍♀️

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at The Middle House! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's attention to detail and exceptional service. One particular incident stood out to us. When we checked in with our children, the hotel immediately noticed and took the initiative to place table corner protectors in our room. It was a small gesture, but it showed such thoughtfulness and care for our family's safety. We truly appreciated this sweet service and it made our stay even more enjoyable. The brand new, beautifully designed rooms were also a highlight and provided us with utmost comfort. The hotel staff went above and beyond to cater to our vegan and gluten-free dietary requirements, ensuring a delicious dining experience. we highly recommend The Middle House and cannot wait to return!

The exclusive amenities at this hotel are absolutely luxurious and fulfilled my every need. the service was exceptional and the Spa & wellness center was a dream come true. With an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, this hotel takes relaxation to the next level. the massage and body scrub I received were top, notch and left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. the beauty treatment and steam room were also fantastic and added to the overall luxurious experience.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was extremely clean and had great facilities. The location was convenient, with plenty of outside restaurants nearby and close to public transportation. The breakfast was excellent and offered a lot of variety.

Spent the new year's eve at a hotel in a great location for exploring the city. The SPA was a highlight - amenities were top-notch and staff were friendly. Loved the sauna and pool, especially after exploring the city in December weather. The lobby had a lovely smell from fresh flowers displayed, very impressive. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the room was perfect, overlooking a beautiful Christmas tree. Chocolate treats in the room were delicious, and bathroom amenities were of premium quality. The grand manager was very helpful, with good tips and great personality.

The bathrobes and slippers provided were one size fits all which was a little too small for my partner and me. The shower's clear walls made it uncomfortable to use with someone else in the room.
